Biography
Lisa Krall knew she wanted to become an elementary teacher since kindergarten. Both parents were educators. She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education, her M.Ed. in Elementary Education, and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. She worked as an elementary public school teacher for twelve years. She has also worked as a Reading Basic Skills teacher. Lisa Krall holds a Minnesota elementary k-6 and a Minnesota Reading Specialist k-12 licenses. She is a National Board Certified Teacher as a Middle Childhood Generalist since 1997. Lisa Krall is an advocate for literacy and has held literacy leadership positions with the Minnesota Academy of Reading and has served on the Higher Education Literacy Partnership statewide committee. She is a lifelong learner with a passion to support educators in being the best teachers they can be!
