Biography

Michael Urban is a professor in the Department of Professional Education where he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses since 2009. He earned his bachelor’s degree in science teaching from the University of Minnesota (Duluth) and his graduate degrees (M.A. and Ph.D.) from the University of Northern Colorado. In the last decade he has participated in several grants related to technology use in teaching and science education, developed curriculum, and authored a number of articles and book chapters. His research interests continue to be in science and STEM education.
