Biography
Marci Maple is a former Bemidji State University nursing graduate. She graduated with a Master’s degree from the College of St. Scholastica specializing as an adult nurse practitioner. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She graduated with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree from the College of St. Scholastica.
In 2021, Maple was inducted into the Global Academy of Holistic Nursing. Maple’s professional memberships have included Sigma Theta Tau, American Holistic Nursing Association, and The Society for the Advancement of Modeling and Role-Modeling. She has served as the co-president for the Minnesota Association Colleges of Nursing. She has served as the president for the international Society for the Advancement of Modeling and Role-Modeling. Maple served as the invited academic partner in the development of Sanford Enterprise Nurse Residency Program and initial accreditation. Maple also has served on the Boad of Directors for Scenic Rivers Health Services.
Her clinical practice has been in the departments of internal medicine and urgent care with prior long term care experience. Her interests are in chronic disease management, gerontology, cardiology, hepatitis C, and obstructive sleep apnea. In her spare time, she has enjoyed being an official with the Minnesota State High School League. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, being outdoors, kayaking, and reading.
